  • 2 Chicken Thighs (or Breast)
  • 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Tandoori Masala
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

For the Pizza Dough: (Skip if using store-bought dough or naan)

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Lukewarm Water
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

For the Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce or Paste
  • 1/4 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

For the Toppings:

  • 1 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper (Red, Green, or Yellow), sliced
  • Fresh Cilantro or Mint for garnish
  • Jalapeños (optional)

Instructions
 

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and salt.
  • Coat chicken thoroughly and marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight for best flavor).

Step 2: Prepare the Dough (Skip if using store-bought dough)

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  • Add lukewarm water and olive oil gradually, stirring to combine.
  • Knead for 5–7 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.

Step 3: Cook the Tandoori Chicken

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill.
  • Remove excess marinade and bake or grill for 15–20 minutes until fully cooked
  • Let it rest before cutting into bite-sized pieces.

Step 4: Prepare the Sauce

  • In a pan, sauté garlic and ginger in oil until fragrant.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, yogurt, garam masala, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer for 5–10 minutes until thick and flavorful.

Step 5: Assemble & Bake

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough and spread a layer of prepared sauce.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly.
  • Add cooked tandoori chicken, onions, and bell peppers.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro or mint before serving.
